SteelCortex Questions Answered

Clear answers about the platform, services, support, pricing, implementation and data handling.

SteelCortex connects cyber visibility, threat monitoring, vulnerability and exposure management, incident investigation, remediation planning and decision-ready reporting. It can support one-off security reviews as well as ongoing security workflows.
SteelCortex is designed for organisations that need stronger cyber visibility and clearer action without unnecessary enterprise complexity. This can include growing businesses, IT and security teams, regulated organisations, professional services, public-sector bodies and organisations preparing to mature their security operations.
Usually not. SteelCortex is designed to work alongside existing cloud, endpoint, identity, vulnerability and logging tools. The aim is to connect relevant evidence and turn it into a clearer operational and reporting workflow.
Yes. Depending on scope, SteelCortex can support triage, evidence organisation, timeline reconstruction, attack-path analysis, containment planning, remediation priorities and reporting. Specialist legal, regulatory or deep forensic requirements may require additional qualified providers.
A scoped assessment of agreed assets or risk areas. A review may examine external exposure, vulnerabilities, cloud and identity weaknesses, configuration risks, incident readiness or another defined concern. The output normally includes evidence, prioritised findings and recommended actions.
SteelCortex considers technical severity alongside exploitability, external exposure, affected asset importance, threat context, compensating controls and likely business impact. The objective is to help teams fix the risks that matter most rather than simply sort by score.
The minimum information depends on the engagement. It may include agreed asset lists, domains, cloud or identity access, relevant logs, system owners and business context. Access should be least-privilege and limited to what is required for the agreed work.
Pricing depends on the scope of work, organisation size, number of assets or environments, monitoring requirements, integration complexity, investigation needs and support level. Published prices are starting points unless a fixed package is explicitly stated.
SteelCortex supports SOC-style monitoring, triage, investigation and reporting workflows. Ongoing managed monitoring can be scoped separately. Coverage hours, responsibilities, service levels and escalation arrangements are defined in the relevant agreement.
Only where 24/7 coverage is specifically included in a contracted service. The website should not be read as promising round-the-clock monitoring for every client or package.
Approved client accounts can use the secure sign-in area to access the website-level client dashboard. The production SteelCortex application and live SOC functions will use the appropriate backend authentication, access controls and additional security measures as those capabilities are deployed.
AI can assist with organising evidence, identifying patterns, summarising findings and accelerating analysis. Important conclusions should remain reviewable, and high-impact security decisions should not rely blindly on automated output.
SteelCortex can help organise security findings, remediation evidence and control mappings in support of audit or compliance activity. It does not certify compliance or replace an accredited auditor, legal adviser or regulator.
A simple review can begin once scope, access and commercial terms are agreed. Larger integrations or ongoing monitoring arrangements require additional onboarding and technical planning.
